Waking Watch Service

GUK Security’s waking watch team includes watchmen and fire wardens. We are able to take a pro-active approach to ensure your premises remain secure. Our tailored service is available for a number of properties, including residential high-rise buildings and commercial units.

Thorough risk assessments are carried out prior to work to ensure the safety of assets, residents, visitors and employees.  Our experienced, fully trained and accredited team of waking watch service professionals can design and implement a bespoke waking watch strategy, which includes waking watch fire wardens being present at your site to keep a watchful eye on it 24/7.

The principle aims of our waking watch service include:

• Assess the safety of a building
• Patrol the site to detect signs of fire
• Alert the fire services
• Ensure all occupants of the building are alerted
• To evacuate the whole of the building quickly, efficiently and safely
• Liaise with fire and rescue services if required

GUK Security are  Contactor Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and a SafeContractor approved.

In the event of a fire, our skilled team of waking watch fire specialists will alert the emergency services, inform everyone in the building of the emergency and help evacuate occupants quickly and safely.
